Remember, the Parade is a 100% volunteer production & the committee’s goal is to make the Parade interesting and entertaining from beginning to end, while keeping in mind protocol issues and the various needs of small children, seniors and animals. It is ofcourse impossible to place everyone at the front. If you’re toward the end of the Parade, remember that the crowd will be twice as excited to see you coming down the street. Maintain the pace as directed to avoid bunches and gaps. This will assure that the last units will have the same audience as the first ones.

We urge the adults in charge of each entry to keep in mind the needs of their participants by keeping them hydrated and in good spirits. If your unit is #40 or above, and you have children, it would be wise to have one adult check in at 9:00 AM with the vehicle, and have another adult bring the children at 10:00 AM. However, every unit must be in a position with all participants ready when it’s your turn to start.

There’s a lot to do downtown before the Parade starts. The annual Buckaroo Breakfast serves a great meal from 7:00 – 10:00 AM for only $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for children. As always, there will be street entertainers along Grant Avenue from 9:00 -10:00 AM.
